About Us
The Chaplaincy College of Health Science and Technology is a government-recognized institution, incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The College is committed to blending public health education with chaplaincy ministry, training men and women to serve as compassionate health professionals and holistic caregivers. Our graduates are equipped to provide professional public health services while delivering spiritual care and community support.
We are in partnership with the International Christian Chaplains Association (ICCA), USA, ensuring that our programs meet international standards in both public health and chaplaincy practice.

Practical Clinical Training
Students are placed in government Primary Health Care (PHC) centers during their training to acquire hands-on clinical skills. This ensures graduates are competent, confident, and fully prepared to perform professionally in hospitals, clinics, community health programs, emergency response units, and other healthcare environments.
Duties of Medical Chaplains
- Disease prevention and health promotion
- Community education on sanitation, hygiene, nutrition, immunization, and disease awareness
- Environmental and community health monitoring
- Basic clinical and emergency response, including first aid and vaccination programs
- Data collection, field surveys, and public health reporting
- Counseling and health education on maternal and child health, lifestyle, hygiene, mental health, and spiritual well-being
- Community outreach and humanitarian services
Community Development Projects
- Food & Medical Outreach: Free medical checks, medications, counseling, and food support, conducted yearly and upgrading to quarterly
- Solar Street Light Installation: 18 streets lit in Jos North and 1 major street in Jos South, improving community safety and visibility
